Bath Lodge is located on the A36 Bath to Warminster road approximately 7 miles
south of Bath on the left hand side as you head south.
The building is flood lit at night.
If you are travelling from London and the East take the M3, A303 and A36 route
and please ignore the diversion signs (the same applies for routes from the
South). Anyone travelling from the North or West please ring for the best directions.
If you wish to visit Bath first — take the third exit signed A4 Bath.
Exit Bath on the A36 Warminster road and after about 7 miles we are situated
on the left hand side just after the junction with the A366.
Alternatively you can exit the M4 at Junction 17, follow the A350 signed to
Chippenham, then Melksham and then take the A361 to Trowbridge, in Trowbridge
follow signs for 'Through Traffic' and pick up the A366 to Radstock. Follow
this road through the village of Farleigh Hungerford and up the hill to the
junction with the A36, turn left on the A36 towards Warminster and Bath Lodge
is situated on the left-hand side after some 300 metres. (This route from the
M4 saves approximately 20 miles and avoids potential delays in Bath depending
on the time of day.)
Finally, if the M4 traffic is bad (eg on a Friday evening) you may prefer to
exit at Junction 15. Follow the A436 to Marlborough, then towards Calne on the
A4 taking the A361 to Devizes and on to Trowbridge and continue as above.
From the South M3/A303 from London
Exit the M3 at Junction 8 and take the A303 signed to Yeovil. After Amesbury,
just before Stonehenge, turn right on to the A360 to Shrewton, then left onto
the B390 to Chitterne. At the T-junction with the A36 turn right, follow the
A36 for approximately 14 miles and Bath Lodge is situated 1 mile north of the
village of Woolverton on the right-hand side.
